My roles have incorporated all aspects of footwear design from online & international research, trendboards, innovation & sustainability, collaboration with heads of design to ensure seasonal range planning & consistency between the apparel & footwear ranges, initial design ideas, development, pattern amendments, branding artworks, design cads & tech sheets, outsole mould specs, managing suppliers in the UK & overseas. Planning Factory visits to China & India for development & to review ranges. Managing an assistant designer, divide & prioritise workloads efficiently, Presenting footwear category at sign off meetings & Global sales meets to key stakeholders. Managing of product review through development & technical. Collaboration with garment tech, buyers & merchandisers. My roles have covered both men's & women's footwear including numerous types of constructions. casual vulcanised & cemented, sports & trail runners, espadrilles, leather sandals, leather boots/shoes, hikers, sandals & flip flops.I have an interest in branding & digital marketing. I have volunteered within the LGBT & QTIPOC community & have worked on digital marketing flyers for events/projects.
