• Prepare and file trademarks applications, including ITU and use-in-commerce applications, statement of use, section 8 & 15, response to Office Actions, and extension of time request etc. with TEAS online filing system;• Analyze Trademarks search reports from search agents (e.g. Corsearch) and report the same to the clients;• Familiar with Lexis/Nexis, Westlaw search tools; • Familiar with US Copyright filings;• Prepare and file all patent application documents with USPTO-EFS online filing system, which including Divisional, Non-provisional, Provisional, PCT and 371 National phase applications etc; • Prepare and to file responses to Office Actions, RCE, IDS, Corrections on Application Date Sheets, 3.73 statement, Declaration and Assignment etc. with USPTO-EFS online filing system;• Check internal firm updated un-filed patent documents list and to follow up;• Translate Japanese and Chinese language correspondence letters into English;• Response to clients’ inquiry letters and to foreign associates’ emails;• Market potential clients in Asian countries;• Prepare billing spreadsheets.

• Prepared and drafted legal documents such as power of attorney/declaration/assignment forms;• Assisted patent attorneys in communicating with clients for the preparation of patent application documents;• Translated and Transmitted all official documents issued by SIPO and WIPO (patent bureau) to clients;• Filed new PCT applications with SIPO and WIPO via PCT-SAFE online filing system and monitored application deadlines;• Filed requests with SIPO and WIPO to amend formal defects (formality errors) in the application documents;• Contacted foreign country agents to assistant PCT application enter into national stages;• Drafted formal and informal e-mail, correspondence and memoranda, as directed by attorney.
