I have 1.5 years experience in the warehouse environment. I started in the function of stocking for inbound and picking for outbound. I was offered the opportunity to train managers from other facilities on what function I worked in. This led to an offer on the upstart of the Walmart Distribution Center in Topeka, Kansas. The launch of the building included: •a team that built the facilitator guide to launching a HVFC hybrid Nonsort warehouse•Built the playbook guide for building a training department•Onboarded 200+ associates in a a few months•Conducted hands on PIT training•Used data to bridge gaps within process. •Implemented policiesAfter that an opportunity for the position of a Procurement Lead was offered and I am currently active in that role. Procurement includes:• counting and logging non inventory • organize slots for non inventory •ordering requests from OP and Area managers. • unloading all non inventory — including corrugate, stretch film, labels etc. • Lead a team to replenish all aspects of a warehouse. Within being a procurement lead — I also led a team to work FedEx ground. This included: • unloading & receiving freight • creating delivery numbers in certain applications (Nova, scheduler etc) • implementing efficient process for the Fedex deliveries. I am well versed in multiple functions in a warehouse. This includes training in inbound, outbound, procurement and systems. PIT Certified. I am looking to grow in all areas and build a future.
