A Human Resources Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting other professional HR staff within the Bureau of Human Resources. Duties include clerical and administrative work in support of staffing, classification and compensation activities. Responsibilities include assisting HR Specialists with the preparation of recruitment screening materials, job postings, coordinating interviews, reference and background checks. Dispatch information to wardens for follow-up. Assist in the coordination of law enforcement efforts in response to wild land fires, spills, floods, tornadoes or other emergencies. Represent the Bureaus of Customer Service and Licensing, Wildlife Management, Fisheries Management, Parks and Recreation and Enforcement in issuing hunting and fishing licenses. Provide information and interpret rules, regulations, and laws that govern hunting, fishing, and the operation of recreational vehicles in Wisconsin. As a multi-program representative for the Department, Serve as a primary point of contact for analyzing and responding to customer needs.
Visitor Services Associate

As a teller at Eagle Valley Bank I was responsible for handling customer transactions, including taking deposits, disbursing cash, issuing cashier's checks, assisting in opening and closing accounts, as well as investigating fees. These transactions are all processed using adding machines, printers and computer systems, giving me a vast and in depth background with these products and skills. As a teller I was also responsible for validating deposit and withdrawal slips, as well as the customer themselves with proper photo identification. Tellers are also responsible for assisting the customers over the telephone, in the lobby and as well as at the drive-through window, always being sure to greet customers warmly and direct them to appropriate bank personnel. With many options and services available at Eagle Valley Bank, I also had the duty of promoting bank products to both customers and non-customers.
