Coven Projects

Baltimore, Maryland Area

Coven Projects was launched as a female-powered creative agency focused on building connections and inspiration through the production of surprising, inclusive events throughout Baltimore City, hosted in non-traditional spaces. This removed a sense of 'ownership' as it relates to place, and created an original, neutral sensation for all. We found this fostered a much more open, communicative environment for our attendees, and co-mingling of Baltimoreans who may not cross each others' paths in their usual choices of entertainment and enrichment venues. Through this lens, we produced experiences not limited to: themed cooking class nights, no-phones allowed mindfulness networking events; a thriving stand-up comedy series celebrating artists of color and non-binary identities, panel discussions and artist talks that gave guests direct face-time with prolific creators, inspiring activists and disruptors, award-winning filmmakers; forward-thinking investors, NYT best-selling authors, as well as community change-makers.
