I started my career as a Campus Recruiter with Northwestern Mutual, with a focus on bringing students into the organization's top ranked internship program. From there I took a hiatus and went into IT Staffing where I mastered the ability to seek out talent that would excel in the various positions I was hiring for. While I loved the role I was in, the universe always has a plan, and it brought my back to Northwestern Mutual where I am currently an Associate Recruiter. I hire Financial Advisors for our Northern New England Territory which includes New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont and Northern Massachusetts. My core belief is that life is all about making connections, and I feel grateful that my job allows me to do that every single day. I spend most of my time speaking with talented people from a variety of industries who are looking for more autonomy, financial freedom, and a career that makes an impact. I introduce them to this opportunity at Northwestern Mutual, where they can join a diverse and inclusive team that values collaboration, innovation, and growth. As an alumna of the University of New Hampshire, I am honored to also work as an adjunct for their Business in Practice Program through the Paul College of Business & Economics. For the past four years I have taught freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors, everything from optimizing their resume, creating a LinkedIn profile that stands out to employers, and perfecting the skills needed to be a successful interviewee. Impacting the future of my students is my version of giving back to a university who gave me so much.
