The family-owned company was one of the first showrooms to open in the Design Center of the Americas (DCOTA) in Dania Beach, Florida. Starting with only 3,500-square-feet and a handful of lines Judith Norman quickly grew to more than 30,000-square–feet with 300 lines. 2011 brought the opening of Judith Norman Now, giving designers access to 27,000-square-feet of the latest pieces that could be taken straight from the floor to the client to finish projects with unparalleled speed.In 2017, Judith Norman moved to an expanded 45,000-square-foot showroom at the South Florida Design Park in Hollywood, Florida. Providing effective financial leadership to a finance team, to enable strategic foresight into the business and also provide knowledgeable and accurate information to colleagues and senior management. Duties: Overseeing all aspects of financial control in the business. Providing financial, commercial and strategic support to the business. Preparation of management information from source data. Producing monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and sales tax returns. Presenting monthly results, budget variances and ad-hoc analysis. Involved in Business Planning, P&L, Balance sheet and liquidity planning. Overseeing internal financial controls. Recording of monies received and paid out. Producing meaningful commentary and analysis of financial data. Preparation and reporting of income and expense forecasts to senior management. Developing, managing and motivating a team of finance professionals. Reviewing new and existing business models and capital appropriation requests. Worked as part of a multi site/multi culture organization. Identify and develop controls and processes to ensure all risks and opportunities are highlighted.
