Nice to meet you, I'm Summer! I'm a current junior at the University of Arkansas pursuing a double major in marketing and supply chain management, with a minor in communications. I have an interest in pursuing digital and social media marketing after my undergraduate studies. I started my undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama, where I was a copywriting associate for Capstone Agency, an award winning student-run PR firm. This is where I developed my copywriting skills, and was awarded best copy in the agency at the end of the year. I then put my skills to use as a marketing intern at Sissy's Snowcones from spring to fall of 2023. During my time at Sissy's, I became proficient in canva and short-form video editing. During my sophomore year, I was chosen as a finalist in the Walton College's Presenter of the Year competition, and was awarded 3rd place for my informative research regarding a shortage of female economics students in the United States. I'm also dedicated to my sorority, Chi Omega, where I was apart of the Nu Beta chapter DEI team, Homecoming dance team, and Derby Days dance team. At the Psi chapter of Chi Omega, I am a tutor for Survey of Calculus, and I had the opportunity to be apart of the 2024 Derby Days dance team.
