About Michael Giannantonio
35+ years entertainment industry / production experience. I am highly experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects of live and planned productions including: scriptwriting, development, broadcasting, financing, pre-production, production, post-production, marketing and distribution. My current goal is to write and direct motion pictures for a global market.I feel I was destined for the entertainment industry. I displayed my creative and leadership abilities at a very young age. By the age of 11, I had made my first musical recording. Before age 12, I was performing complex magic tricks for my friends and family. I made my professional debut as a musician at age 15. This led to a 10 year career as a professional lead guitarist. I also discovered the video camera at a young age and began writing scripts, developing ideas and producing home videos. In 2003, after becoming a world renowned stage hypnotist and magician, I formed a talent agency and represented numerous entertainers. My stage acts were regularly featured on national and international television shows, in print media and on radio broadcasts. During this time, I found myself writing, consulting for feature films, and producing professional video related works in my spare time. In late 2004, I found myself performing hundreds of shows each year for casinos, fairs, festivals, theme parks and more, yet somehow I felt "empty" inside. In 2005, I wrote, produced and directed my first award winning short film. This led to my retirement from the stage any my transition into film and television. I now find myself writing, producing and directing feature films, television shows, documentaries, commercials and more. I feel I have finally found my true calling and love my career in film and television.
