I'm a passionate and dedicated optometrist, originally from Bangladesh, where I completed my DMF under the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council. My journey in the medical field began at the government MATS in Tangail, where I undertook a rigorous 3-year academic program followed by a year of internship. This foundational experience sparked my interest in specialized areas of optometry, leading me to pursue a Bachelor of Optometry at Chandigarh University in India – a decision driven by my ambition to excel in this field.During my studies and subsequent internship at VISUAL EYEZ, I delved deep into various specialties like Contact Lens, Binocular Vision assessment, Vision Therapy, Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation, and Low Vision Rehabilitation. Among these, Binocular Vision and Vision Therapy emerged as my focal interests, pushing me towards the fascinating world of Neuro-optometry.A highlight of my career was presenting a poster at an International Optometric Conference on Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation, under the mentorship of Dr. Rajeev Prasad. This experience not only honed my research skills but also affirmed my commitment to clinical excellence in optometry.Now a part of the esteemed team at Visual Eyez, I am concentrating on research and clinical applications in Optometry, Neuro-Optometry, Vision Therapy, and Binocular Vision. My goal is to make a significant impact in improving the lives of those with visual impairments.As a professional, I thrive on positivity and constructive collaboration. I believe in staying away from negativity and instead, focusing on empowering and uplifting others, especially in challenging environments.
