Get it Fast is an organisation specialising in same day delivery for major retailers across Australia and New Zealand. Aim of Get it Fast is to hit the ground running with retailers, with little or no investment in IT integration. Growing rapidly Get it Fast is looking to connect with more retailers, who are seeking to expand with faster and more reliable delivery experience for their customers. My role is to connect with the major retailers and help the two organisations develop a customised solution that is best suited to the needs of the retail client.

In 2018, some of the senior students of Ghungroo School of Kathak Dance, lead by Sumona Bhattacharya, established a Not-for-Profit association Ghungroo School Incorporated. The objectives of this organisation are to-preserve the heritage of Indian classical music and dance in Australia-promote the pure classical dance form of Kathak in Australia-provide a platform for overseas Kathak artists to visit Australia to perform and impart their knowledge of Kathak-build an international community of artists that encourages the preservation and growth of Indian classical music and dance in Australia-provide students of Kathak a platform to showcase and practise their knowledge of Kathak-celebrate the multicultural roots of Kathak by connecting people from different communities and ethnic background through means of Kathak dance This association has organised many dance shows at prestigious locations across Melbourne, including many online shows and the very first online annual Kathak concert during the COVID-19 pandemic. Simultaneously the association has hosted Kathak-Tabla workshops with eminent international visiting artists such as Pt. Abhijit Bannerjee and Mayookh Bhaumik. In 2021, the association organised an online variety program Disha, which was attended by audience across the globe. The proceeds from this event were donated to charities in India that assisted artists suffering due to a lack of income during the pandemic. In 2024, the association hosted world renowned Kathak legend and senior most disciple of late Pandit Birju Maharajji, Vidushi Saswati Sen for the very first time in Melbourne. Kathak workshops were organised in Melbourne with Saswatiji, that were attended by Kathak students from interstate as well as across Victoria.

In 2008, Sumona established the Ghungroo School of Kathak Dance. Her objective was to provide a forum to teach the pure classical style of Kathak to her students, and to ignite in them a deep love for Kathak, developing them into future ambassadors of this great Indian artform on foreign soil. Ghungroo School of Kathak Dance was the very first school in Melbourne, to give the students an opportunity to learn and practice dancing Kathak with live music, tabla and sarod. In 2012, Sumona Bhattacharya was the first person in Melbourne to present Kathak students on stage, performing with live musical accompaniment. From then on, all subsequent annual Kathak concerts of the school, over the years, have been presented with live musical accompaniment by leading vocalists, instrumentalists and percussionists of Melbourne. Sumona’s Kathak lineage has allowed her to explore a wide range of bandish from both Jaipur and Lucknow gharana heritage, as well as routinely present high calibre choreographic works of the likes of Pt. Birju Maharaj, Guru Rani Karnaa, Dr. Puru Dadheech and Vidushi Saswati Sen. Today, Ghungroo School of Kathak Dance boasts a group of half a dozen serious practitioners of Kathak, who have been learning from the dance school for more than a decade. Over the years Sumona has also routinely produced innovative creative works, through the means of Kathak dance, which has been appreciated by industry experts at a global level.

Responsible for developing new business opportunities and selling solutions in Application Development, Management & Support in SAP, Oracle and other leading edge technologies, Application Modernisation, transformation from legacy to Digital world, add-ons to Cloud technologies, Application Migration to Cloud and SaaS, Big Data Platform & support. Key Achievements include:1. Solid signings selling to IBM's high profile top 10 clients across Telco, Energy & Utility (E&U), Retail and Banking sectors2. Broke into key accounts which were either inactive or had minimal success for the application services division3. Signed more than double the initially estimated TCV by employing creative solutioning and complex pricing strategies with key E&U client4. Setup and headed the Business Application Modernisation practice as the ANZ Sales Lead5. Liaised with Global and APAC teams as ANZ lead for the initiative to utilise Digital Sales teams for traditional sales6. Led as Opportunity Owner (OO) large deals and proposals (RFPs), deals that required complex solutions involving SMEs from multiple geographies, wide range of technologies and stringent legal compliance7. Accompanied clients to IBM's offshore global delivery facilities that resulted in number of net new opportunities
