Fourth generation in the field of furniture and manufacturing in my family which started in 1867, in Saharanpur, India. Continuing the legacy, I have built my own brand “Senses by Sumreen- Home Interior Design Firm” and have served more than 100+ customers by now. I can take the vision of your home interior in one meeting, to clear practical plans.My work involved:-To lead and supervise a team of designers, craftsmen, and administrative staff.-Project management skills and strong confidence in client communication-Excellent project organization skills and ability to create comprehensive FF&E schedules and work orders.-knowledge and skills in all areas of residential design, including selecting materials for exteriors, interior finishes and fixtures, and furnishings and window treatments-Develop presentation materials and proposals-Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients, contractors, vendors and external subcontractors-Research new products and materials-Create and maintain project budgets-Coordinate and assist in project installations-Create quotes for clients and ensure full workflow is followed-Prioritizing multiple tasks with skilled time management.-Social media marketing -AutoCAD-Leadership and management-Stay updated on industry trends and innovations by traveling, attending webinars, and events, following influencers, and prominently experimenting and learning.I have taught furniture design at NCA; one of the best art and design universities in Pakistan. Guided students in conceptualizing and executing their furniture designs, from ideation to final productionI am creative and love to take on challenging projects for the sense of accomplishment and my dear dopamine. I have flipped 150+ furniture items while restoring the true essence of the piece as I firmly believe every furniture item has a story of its own.
