Victoria Hydro Power(VHP) station is 240 MW (3 x 80 MW). I was responsible for efficient, reliable and safe operation of the power plant and 220kV grid substation.# Operated, loaded, shutdown 3 x 80MW (240 MW) generating units on request of the National Grid Operator (NGO).# SCADA/remote/in field 220kV grid substation's switchgear operations.# Provided proactive supervision on operators to maintain the grid stability.# Led, managed and trained operators on plant operation procedures and practices.# Developed the power plant operation/isolation policies and procedures.# Black started generators and recovered the power system from blackout.# Diagnosed and troubleshot Distributed Control System(DCS) fault and rectified them.# Root Cause Analysis(RCA) of plant equipment failure to improve equipment reliability and availability of the power plant.# Discussed with the maintenance team and planned maintenance activities, negotiated with the NGO and scheduled outages for generating units/ 220kV grid substation's maintenance activities.# Arranged Work Permits and isolated generating unit/grid substation equipment for maintenance. # Implemented Victoria Hydro Power Station's maintenance, asset management, inventory control activities in the ERP system.# Trained maintenance staff for ERP system's activities.# In house developed, installed, commissioned and operated 100 MVA Generator(Stator).# Successfully conducted factory acceptance tests of 220 kV current transformers(24).# Ensured all Health and Safety Environment (HSE) systems in operation and maintenance

Bowatenna Hydro Power(BHP) station is a single 40MW generating station. I was responsible for overall management of the plant and the 132kV grid substation.
