-monitor operational procedures, guidelines and GMP and advice manufacturing, engineering and technical management suppliers where appropriate to ensure they are aware of any situations where products/activities are outside defined parameters and where improvements in product quality be made.- evaluate site data and information to provide advice to technical and operations management so informed business decisions can be made.-liase with relevant departments to investigate non-conformance and recommend/agree appropriate actions. Taking responsibility for actioning non-conforming product in line with company procedures including updating appropriate systems.-work with other departments to evaluate processes and procedures and help implement change programs to drive waste out of the operation.- communicating effectively both verbally and in writing internally (e.g handovers, team briefings) and also externally( e.g across departments and suppliers) to ensure own activities and that of others are aligned to minimise disruptions and meet objectives through common understanding.- observe and ensure compliance with health and safety rules to promote a safe working environment.- provide advice and problem solving and access to specialist knowledge to individuals and the production teams to resolve issues speedily and effectively.- promote and encourage through active listening, identification and resolution of problems to continually improve team and business performances.-carrying out audits to ensure current hygiene conditions do not pose an imminent or potential food safety risk. They are carried out against GMP requirements and the standards in housekeeping, personal hygiene, cleaning, pest control, foreign matter, waste, storage, maintenance and documentation. From the audits, corrective actions are assigned to appropriate operational manager with agreed time scales.
