Selected by National sales director due to high level of integrity, excellent business and project management ability.Assist national sales director in terms of revising strategy and aligning organization to turn around the business. Manages a team of 20 managers/staffs and rep (5 direct reports)   Construct commercial strategy incl. product portfolio, pricing, channel strategy and sales policy aligned with strategy. Ensure commercial related process and systems to comply with internal control while finding more efficiency. Allocates resource including sales force, marketing fund to best support the strategy while saving overall costs. This includes redesigning wholesaler discount system, venue incentive process from initiation to payment, POS management process, anti bribery policy for sales proposal, and etc.

Promoted as an acting trade marketing director under the consideration of finance director position once the company hires a trade marketing director.

As recognition of capability and commitment, expanded responsibility 1 year after joining the trade marketing team. Managed a team of 7 staffs including 1 manager. Key R&Rs include segmentation, market forecast, KPI management, and system and project management. Improved segmentation process which was not incorporated into company budget process and accuracy significantly. So, the actual result was used for the route to market strategy for the first time. Improved trade spending forecast and delivered the committed budget spending figures for the 1st time in the last 6 years (2-3 b krw overspending out of 80 b krw occurred every year.)

Transfer from finance to trade marketing as talent development.Managed 80 b krw trade spending budgets, monthly/annual closing, and 600 K 9L shipment volumes target, Sales related policy & process management,  Key R&R includes market forecast, company target setting with bottom up proposals and adjustment reflecting actual market trend and performance, monthly/Yearly volumes and A&P Closing, communication to finance. Improved the budget management and communication with key stakeholders and this was well received by the CFO and Sales head. Staff satisfaction and commitment level improved. When first arrived, every member of the team wanted to be transferred to other teams and after 1 year, all same staffs expressed their wish to stay in the team.

 Responsible for 400 b krw P&L targets setting, closing, reporting and identifying risks and opportunities and make recommendation to management. Constructed the BA team from zero bases after the integration with Allied Domeq. Analyzed UK based P&Ls and systems and converted into IFRS based P&Ls. Actively participated in ERP system migration b/w Allied Domeq and Pernod Ricard. Developed templates for monthly closing and business tracking and deployed to each team. Organized PRK’s first staff sales in order to deplete slow moving and old vintage stocks and cleared 1,000 9L while still making money.
