Sr. Engineering Manager - 3rd Party Risk Solutions & Tech EnablementResponsibilities:• Support and Lead all of engineering efforts for the 3rd Party Risk Solutions as well as Tech Enablement initiative across the firm.• Provide overall mentorship of a globally distributed team of engineers across NYC and Bangalore (India) to build proprietary technology platforms based on AWS Infrastructure.• Recruit, build and develop Agile teams to deliver high quality software. Help make Agile teams self organized.• Reporting directly to CTO and CIO, to provide product strategy, create a roadmap, conduct sales demos to collect client feedback to eventually incorporate them in the product roadmap.• Work with different BU heads to identify the role that technology can play in increasing their efficiency as well as overall ROI.• Work closely with the legal team to answer client DDQs as well as working on vendor management.• Managing budgets and Tracking CapEx vs OpEx spend of the project budget for year end accounting reviews.

• Manage multi-discipline teams distributed across Kansas City (U.S.A), Kiev (Ukraine) and Chennai (India) to ensure that system is developed to meet the business needs and expectations.• Manage end-to-end release cycle of AGILE methodology from story writing / grooming, iteration planning / estimations, development, QA, Iteration Retrospective till production release.• Build highly effective teams through ongoing professional development of Individual contributors and effective hiring.• Oversee and ensure adherence to SOLID Principles, Test Driven Development (TDD) as well as Behavior Driven Development (BDD). Take an active hands-on role in key development Initiatives to lead by example.• Ensure high quality deliverables by undertaking code reviews and architectural reviews.• Undertake Performance tuning projects to overcome any performance bottlenecks.• Working as a Cloud Evangelist to drive the system towards cloud architecture by moving towards SOA in order to support horizontal scaling.
