listeningTxt.nz is a social start-up. It is an ongoing effort to provide an anonymous, text-based helpline. It has a parallel in the Samaritans who provide a voice-call service. The intention was to leverage the current generation’s propensity for text-based communication. My responsibilities were:* Project planning, tracking, delivery - including stakeholder engagement and presentation.* Definition of the requirements and use cases. *Development of an architecture which could scale to more than 1000 concurrent sessions without system degradation.* Implementation of a framework which is robust and easy to change* Design and documentation of training material for 'support' personnel.
