Global Marketing head for the knitted apparel fabric division driving sale of 1500 MT of processed fabric per month ( Solids / Prints & Yarn dyes ) Ensuring that 50% of the above business is aligned through nomination with top global retail brands like - Levis , Calvin Klien , George Azda , Tesco , Kohls , Target stores ( US) ,Primark , ALDI , LIDL , Decathlon etc and Domestic retail brands like - Jockey , Dicxy , R- Trends etc .Responsible to drive a targeted Annual Topline of Rs 800 Cr while achieving Rs 90 Cr EBITDA , by ensuring a correct product mix and maximum throughput .Drive sales Pan India and Overseas managing dedicated regional teams .

Main Area of work involves -- Developing New Regions / Customers . Such Accounts as – Columbia Sports wear , Adidas / Reebok , Decathlon ( Oxylane ) , AEO . etc to name a few were brought to ALOK by my initiative .Work profile 1.Development of new customers – Visiting key targeted customer , Liaoning with compliance depts to get the nomination protocols completed – Social Audits / Process unit audits / getting accreditations as per the customers need / Liaoning with the product developments and finalizing costing . Finally setting up a team to handle this business .2.Finding solutions for day to day issues and customer complaints .3.Looking into improving Efficiency and Utilization of the plant .4.Ensuring targets are met by the individual teams .5.Taking part in Domestic and international fairs and events to keep up with trends in the business . Also handled various projects at ALOK such as – Sustainable processing of Cotton fabric- This was an imitative to formulate an innovative procedure for wet processing of cotton fabrics in such a way that the effluent from these processes do not harm the environment , we even went on to add various nano finishes to this fabric & then to market this concept to various brands in a proactive manner – Brands such as M&S , ADIDAS , OXYLANE , REEBOK , C&A , COLUMBIA SPTS WEAR -- etc were totally sold on this concept .Developing & Marketing 100 % Polyester fabrics to Brands – This involved developing products to match international quality and market this to various sports brands like – ADIDAS , REEBOK , NIKE , DECATHLON etc .

Knits production dept : ( 1996 --- 1998 )Headed the fabric designing ( As Manager R&D ) for knits in all types of circular knitting machines , analysis of samples given by customers , development of new product range of knitted fabrics , with input from marketing , also new types of finishes in teamwork with the processing dept .Marketing : ( 1998----2007 )Headed the Apparel fabric Marketing Dept ( Asst Manager - Domestic Sales ) , Catering to the kids market in Mumbai / Delhi / Ahmedabad till the year 2000 .Was promoted to Sales Manager Exports ( 2001 ) Catering fabric to Apparel Exporters in Mumbai / Bangalore / Delhi .Systems & Administrations : ( 1998----2007 )In the same period that I was looking into the marketing I was also entrusted additional responsibility of getting the Group ISO 9000 certified , was the Corporate MR for the Group to over look audits and assess continual improvement Went on to get the group certified for OEKOTEX -100 , and subsequently overseeing of the implementations of all related processes . Was instrumental for getting SAP ( ERP package ) implemented within the Group , and was Project head-- KDG . Overseeing the processes with a team of 18 Process related core team members, and 50 data entry operators stationed at various locations within the Group, While at KDG , was also instrumental in the development of the Krishna knitwear website , and penning write ups and articles that featured Krishna Group , in various textile magazines .
