➢ Responsible for improvement in supplier Overall PPM, supplier rating and Overall Performance.➢ Conducting supplier system audit as per plan, Supplier Assessment Audits, Audit Reports Preparation, action plan & review.➢ Monitoring of supplier quality issues of Aluminum casting and machining, sheet metal parts, Fastners, machining, , plastic molding and visit them to get them resolved and verify the CAPA, Gap Analysis and Strategic Countermeasure.➢ New part development at supplier and conduct PPAP as per the desired level.➢ Participate in supplier selection process by studying past performance reports for future reference. ➢ Report monthly performance results, identifying issues and recommending corrective action➢ Improving supplier capability to meet the business’s needs & along with conducting supplier audits, Product & Process audits, Identify Non-Conformance & follow up action plan to prevent recurrence.➢ PPAP Approval and PSW signed off, trial run of both new developed parts and any change in existing parts.➢ To look after continual improvements at supplier ends.➢ To carry out Process audit and Product Audit at supplier end and get its closure done.➢ Supplier training activities as per plan for there up gradation on topics like zero defects culture, Supplier System Audits, Fire-wall Implementation, Safety and Change Management.➢ Identifying the need of Special & Regular gauges as per the process requirement.➢ Work directly with suppliers to improve product quality, performance and reliability.➢ Continuous improvement through Kaizen.➢ Working in SAP.
