Project Manager - Mep
Current• Client and Consultant Interaction: Serve as the main point of contact for clients and MEP consultants, discussing project requirements, design updates, and addressing any concerns. Ensure effective communication to align expectations and deliverables.• Costing and BOQ Preparation: Develop detailed BOQs and project cost estimates for MEP systems, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications.• Tendering and Bid Evaluation: Prepare tender documents, review bids from subcontractors and suppliers, and provide recommendations for awarding contracts based on technical and commercial evaluations.• Project Scheduling: Develop and maintain the MEP project schedule, ensuring timely completion of design, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities. Track progress and adjust schedules as necessary.• Sub-Vendor Finalization: Identify, evaluate, and finalize sub-vendors and subcontractors for MEP works, ensuring they meet project standards and requirements.• Billing and Documentation: Prepare and review vendor bills, ensure timely submission, and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, inspection reports, and change orders.• Support on Project Execution: Collaborate with project teams during the execution phase to ensure MEP installations align with the design, addressing any site-related challenges and providing technical support as needed.• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Monitor MEP works for quality and compliance with relevant codes, standards, and design specifications. Conduct site inspections and address any non-conformities.• Value Engineering: Propose design and material alternatives to optimize cost without compromising quality.• Change Management: Assess design modifications, update project documents, and coordinate changes with clients, consultants, and contractors.
