# Functioning as Regional manager-Supply chain for Northern region and responsible for complete project procurement for healthcare sector in north India. # Overall Procurement responsibility for Project Procurement, supplier Development & Supplier Quality, Purchasing Processes & Systems and Operational Procurement.# Handling project procurement activities involving civil construction of building on turnkey basis, HVAC systems, Generator sets, UPS, Chiller, IT Items, Software’s ,High end medical accessories , Furniture’s, all kinds of services such as installation, transportation, logistics, manpower supply, trainings, OEM Service etc.# Organizing, controlling and monitoring all procurement activities in a project and introducing procurement strategies targeting maximum contribution to the operating result .# Procuring necessary supplies, services and equipments required for all the healthcare projects, obtaining the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible purchase cost. Ensure that all the purchases are made in accordance with prevailing statutes, regulations, policies and procedures.# Analyzing scope of supply and customer contract agreements, carrying out risk analyses and introducing negotiation recommendations with suppliers (back-to-back). # Regional frame contracts for all project procurement and OEM service related activities including binding agreements at pre-bid stage.# Participate in project and sales meetings as project core team member at an early stage by providing project costing for OEM items at tender stage # Business development & finalization of long term pricing & contracts.

# Functioning as Procurement head for all sites of Philips Healthcare- DMC Operations, Reporting to General Manager- Purchase and General Manager-Supply Chain.# Handling the purchasing function of five factories situated in the Mumbai, Goa, Gujarat and Pune as well as handling the project procurement for the new green field factory setup at pune with a strong team of 15 Engineers.# Execute the complete function of material planning, sourcing, vendor development, scheduling, order processing and timely receipt of goods, inventory management and improving the inventory turns ratio.# Support implementation and accomplishment of Purchasing strategies, goals and objectives. # Establish controlling and monitoring mechanisms to improve procurement function compliance to Purchasing Control procedures and Global Philips business principles.# Establishing Supplier Risk mitigation processes and ensuring Supply Chain continuity by driving through SRM (Supplier relationship management) program.# Drive Supplier base transformation and Supplier Consolidation programs.# Improving the process and optimization for better productivity at supplier’s end.# Driving cost reduction projects, Identifying and developing alternate suppliers.# MIS Reporting, Team appraisals and Performance monitoring. # Recognized for diligent work through Accelerate award for excellent contributions

# Functioning as Manager-Supply Chain Management for the manufacturing of high precision life saving medical diagnostic equipments, reporting to Works Manager. # Executing the functions of planning, sourcing, manufacturing and delivery.# Plan procurement and develop sources, negotiate with suppliers, maintenance of vendor database, authorize requisitions, order confirmations and procurements, organize and direct the work of personnel in day-to-day operations, develop departmental procedures and policies.# Responsible for creation and maintenance of sourcing strategy & develop supplier base to support manufacturing operations.# Managing inventory inclusive of stock maintenance, stock transfer, stock reconciliation, stock issues, item consumption, accurate inventory level maintenance# Investment planning and budgeting.# Ensuring quality assurance, inspection and compliances to quality and regulatory system requirements.# Improving the process and optimization for better productivity.# Spare parts management and providing service support.# Implementing cost reduction projects.# Identifying and developing alternate suppliers.# Project Management & support projects involving product development & setting up supply chain for parts intended for direct export from LCC vendors.# Implementing good manufacturing practices such as Lean manufacturing, 5 S, VMI , Kanban etc. # Preparing Management Information System.# Monitoring the performance, appraising the team and identifying the training needs.
