The primary role of the Head of Finance will be to administer financial and asset management of the programme across 7 International partners will be delivered in Uganda, Iraq, Madagascar, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Overseas Palestinian Territories, Central African Republic, and Lebanon countries, in accordance with Restless Development and Department for International Development (DFID) guidelines. In this role I will drive strong financial control and advocate financial priorities to the partners and to Restless Development’s programme team• Member of Leadership Team to provide strategic and financial decision support to the programme and country finance staff where appropriate to underpin strong financial performance.• Ensuring the program deliverables are achieved within budget while effectively managing fiduciary risk • Manage Financial disbursements and ensure compliance of sub-contractors to programme financial guidelines • Be responsible for International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) reporting per DFID’s guidelines • Ensuring that all financial management work is performed to the highest ethical and professional standards • Ensuring that required financial and procurement approvals have been given and are documented to justify expenditures under the programme • Ensuring that effective budgeting and financial reporting processes are developed and implemented to meet the financial management, forecasting and reporting requirements of all stakeholders • Conduct support visits to partners and implementation teams to monitor the quality and completeness of financial processes and reporting, and to provide targeted support to partner teams.
