• Single-handedly managing Finance, Accounts & Audit for all the group companies.• Actively participating in corporate decision making, preparing & analysing MIS Reports, handling Finalisation of Accounts and preparing & maintaining books of accounts.• Identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement within all areas of Business Management System.• Ensuring the compliance of International Accounting Systems are followed and also ensuring Statutory Compliances.• Handling all statutory, internal & concurrent audits, attending to Auditors requirements, reviewing auditor reports and ensuring compliance of all audit reports by timelines.• Monitoring receivables & payables accounts, conducting age-wise analysis of debtors & creditors, and ensuring timely collections from debtors and payments to creditors for all companies.• Preparing Budgets & ensuring budgetary controls, conducting monthly P&L analysis, analysis of budget variance and reporting.• Handling monthly timesheets, processing payroll for all companies, Project management & Job Costing & reporting.• Preparation of revenue forecast and cash flow.

• Instrumental in supporting the Financial Controller for smooth functioning of the Finance department• Instrumental in identifying critical areas as per risk levels involved along with preparing budget plans • Handling the month end and yearend with full responsibility up to finalization and submission of necessary reports to group on COGNOS and also assisting the financial controller in the preparation of AOP and budget presentation and External Audit by setting up various schedules and necessary supports.• Controlling and handling the daily reconciliation of 40 van sales representative statements.• Preparation of Cash flow, Order book and other MIS reports such as sales and overhead analysis, Monthly forecasting and variance analysis.• Handling and maintaining of the treasury and arranging for deposits with the Bank.• Responsible for supervising Bank reconciliations and posting all FX and currency transactions• Responsible for overseeing cash allocations, reviewing purchase / sales ledgers and managing the GL database• Instrumental in training and developing Accounts Assistants and other members of the Finance team• Knowledge of handling Export Sales• Handling of all debtor accounts and updating Sales ledger• Rising of all stock invoices, setting up of various month end schedules, such as Prepayments, Fixed Assets, Consignment stock etc.• Handling of stock revaluations, updating of cost price and selling price on the system on a regular basis• Complying strictly with corporate procedures for internal control and meeting company deadlines.

 Knowledge in Handling of General Ledger, Prepayments, Local Purchase Order, Fixed Assets, Acounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Inventory Module in PEOPLESOFT (JD EDWARDS) ERP Package. Handling & Reconciling 80 Van Sales Reps statements on monthly basis.  Checking of Reconciliation of all Banks & necessary entries. Handling the Debit notes of the Suppliers. Checking and coding of all the Local vendor Invoices & Warehouse expenses. Analysing the Vehicle expenses and Fuel. Surprise visit and checking of cash in all the warehouses once in a month. Preparation of Balance sheet schedules with proper backup and providing required explanation on monthly basis. Clearing accounts of other suppliers ,. Performing other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager from time to time.

 Basic accounting entries like payment vouchers, journal vouchers, cash vouchers, recording sales, bank reconciliation. Monthly financial closing, prepare monthly consolidation, management reporting of variances.  Preparation of various statements using MS Excel and drafting of various letter with the help of MS Word, also worked on MS PowerPoint. Monthly management reporting. Provide analytic and ad hoc reports to senior management. Issue of monthly customer account statements and follow up of receivables and payables every month. Prepare monthly invoices along with delivery orders to customers; follow up for collection of invoices, Issue of receipts and handle of inquiries. Opening of LC and negotiating with the banks until the export or import is completed. Data entry, day to day financial transactions such as stock entries and book keeping up to finalization of accounts (i.e. accruals, allocations, balance sheet review). Preparing monthly income statement and post it to the trial balance and balance sheet.
