As the Security Manager at P&O Cruises, I play a crucial role in safeguarding shipping operations against potential threats such as piracy, terrorism, and theft. My responsibilities include analyzing routes and ports to ensure the security of our vessels, as well as ensuring compliance with both domestic and international security regulations, including the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code.In addition to my role at P&O, I have extensive experience in security management within various chemical plants, notably with Bayer Crop Science. I led a team of 160 security personnel across multiple locations, including Vapi, Himmatnagar, and Silvassa. My hands-on experience has equipped me with the skills to develop and implement comprehensive security strategies, conduct risk assessments, and manage incident responses effectively.With over 25 years in security management, I have built a distinguished career across both the defense and private sectors. As a former Indian Navy veteran, I am dedicated to fostering a proactive security culture. I hold multiple security certifications and am currently pursuing my Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation.I am passionate about protecting people, assets, and information, and I strive to deliver excellence in security performance.
