My family is from Kerala, India, and I was raised in Dubai up until high school, when I moved to Canada. I studied the IB program in high school, and then Sociology and English at the University of Toronto. Following my graduation I moved to Korea to teach English as a second language. I ended up staying for about 4.5 years in total and gained a vast amount of valuable experiences. I apllied for and then was accepted into a masters in Cultural Anthropology at Utrecht University, in the Netherlands, and was researching my thesis in community run healthcare in India, when unfortunately I myself was diagnosed with cancer at 28. I recieved part of my treatment in Dubai and the rest here at Princess Margaret and am now recovered. I have lived all over the world ahve had exposure to a variety of industries. I speak to differing degrees a multitude of languages, and most importantly I seek to apply myself in a meaningful way, in this second lease on life.
