Sunil Revankar, a 3rd generation goldsmith. Initiated into family profession at 17. Handcrafted gold into jewels as a teen, he displays a sense of the contemporary in his designs. But also imbibes as much from tradition. He admits, he cannot but be inspired by traditional practice and aesthetics of Indian goldsmithing, preserved and carried forward through generations. He won the ‘Indian International Jewellery Designer Award -2004’ given by DeBeers (DTC)
