 Preparation of CEAR & BOQ for the IP equipments. Preparation of network design document (HLD & LLD) including all necessary firewalls and security policies. Implementing the solution and setup the centralised & regional monitoring through Dataminer. ATP (Acceptance Test Plan) completion & Issuing RFS (Ready for Service).

Duties and Responsibilities (2004- till date):- Responsibilities apart from managing a team of 6 engineers are -1. Network integration project of Tata Internet Service Network (TISL) & TG into & with VSNL networkTISL Network is a Nationwide IP/MPLS infrastructure deployed at 40 sites, offering a blend of business grade IPVPN, MPLS & Internet services to its Enterprise customer.Project responsibilities are - Prepare detailed network plan including network topology, architecture. Validating and suggestion for network plan and design recommended by Cisco on Configuring ROUTERS (Cisco 12000, 7000, 3600, 2500 Series), SWITCHES (Cisco 7609, 6500, 2900, 1900, 3500 Series). Network integration Planning, Designing and Implementation, resolving network critical issue as and when escalated by IPNOC core daily operations team.2. Other major responsibility includes - Detailed analysis of Daily Utilization and Performance Reports of VSNL Domestic and International networks and recommending bandwidth augmentation based on requirement. Coordination with regional network in-charges for local IP network management. Actively participate in planning direction for Network Engineering. Provide technology assessments and recommendations in support of Automation and Networking Technology initiatives. Configuring & controlling routing setup for ISP’s, Transits & Peering partners. Network re-engineering for backup plans during network crisis to assure all SLA committed to customers. Providing monthly report on ISP rankings and VSNL global network announcements. Planning and implementing all core network upgradation in case of planned or unplanned outages.
