As a BIM Modeler at ABM Group, I apply my diploma in civil engineering and my professional graduate programme in civil engineering to create and coordinate structural and architectural 3D models for high-rise building projects in Dubai, UAE. I have over 15 years of experience in this field, including eight years in UAE.Some of my key achievements include:Performing clash detection, exporting quantities, creating view points and markups, and preparing drawings for authority approval using Revit and Naviswork software.Preparing detailed RCC structural and architectural shop drawings, such as pile-cap, raft, retaining wall, slab and beam, column and core-wall, staircase, blockwork layout, tile layout, false ceiling layout, bathroom plan, sections and elevations.Submitting shop drawings for consultant and client review, raising technical queries or RFIs, resolving site issues, and preparing as-built drawings.Coordinating with site engineers, project engineers, technical coordinator, technical manager, MEP and landscape contractors.I am passionate about civil engineering and building construction, and I enjoy working with a diverse and collaborative team to deliver quality and timely results.
