Conducted Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI) proof of concepts and projects for customers, transforming successful projects into reusable products.Developed Computer Vision solutions for tiny person detection in sea-based Search & Rescue applications for the Hong Kong Marine Police. - Achieved a top 10 merit prize in the Hong Kong “Innovative Application with AI” Innovation Competition. - Represented Beyond Limits at the InnoEX 2024 Convention in Hong Kong. - Implemented a demo website using FastAPI and Streamlit and Docker containers for reproducibility and deploymentExecuted a Time-Series Forecasting model for a battery supplier to predict battery cell lifecycle capacity with an RMSE of 1.0735 for failure detection.Performed a colour and characteristic correlation study with a performance material provider to assess the application of machine learning to create new materials with specific charcteristics (e.g. thickness, opitcal density, etc).Utilized Large Language Models (LLMs) for generating university syllabi, employing prompt engineering, retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and metadata manipulation.

Conducted in-house R&D to digitalise processes and embrace a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach. Accomplished a successful proof-of-concept, demonstrating the value and benefits of adopting MBSE. This served as a springboard to show the potential transformative impact that MBSE can bring to our organisation. Rolled out the first significant milestone in our journey to integrate MBSE into our department by converting a key tender and design documentation into a model format.Secured funding of ~$400k from parent ministry to fund R&D efforts.Implemented Topic Modeling on academic papers to identify identify trends in the MBSE research community, saving over 800 manhours that would be required to read each paper. Insights were used for roadmap decision making process. Implemented the SCRUM process for the development team.

Providing Operations & Support (O&S) capability to the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).Within a dynamic timeframe of just 1.5 years, I had the opportunity to contribute to two diverse teams, each demanding distinct skillsets which had to be swiftly acquired on the job.Developed a missile-target collision predictor using Microsoft Excel by considering the missile flight performance and target flight path and speed in a 3D space.

Managed Signalling projects and communicated with internal and external stakeholders to design, build, test and commission the driverless train systems in Singapore.Oversaw the opening of Downtown Line Stage 3 and closure of the remaining defects for the Circle Line Project. Investigated and resolved Signalling issues that resulted in disruptions to the rail network.Involved in Signalling projects for Circle Line, Downtown Line, Thomson Line and Jurong Regional Line for the Signalling subsystems of Automatic Train Supervision (ATS), Data Communication System (DCS) and IT Security:Contract J152 for Jurong Regional Line – Assisted in the review of the contractual design requirements for the project.Contract T252 for Thomson Line – Oversaw the final design review and testing & commissioning of the system as well as the training for the operator.Contract C952 for Downtown Line – Participated in the testing & commissioning of the system. Contract C952A for Downtown Line Extension – Oversaw the final design of the system.Contract C830 for Circle Line – Oversaw the closure of the outstanding defects observed in the system.
