Prepare short and long term manpower forecast for the company taking into consideration expected growth and new projects, by understanding the business plan and liaising with Executive Director’s/Managers to translate that into quantifiable headcount requirements.Review proposal from each division for staffing requirements and make recommendations to Management to either approve or not the requirement after undertaking careful analysis of the productivity requirements of the company.Conduct analysis and make recommendations for manpower redeployment or shortages to address the business needs.Conduct employee orientation/induction and introductory training so that new employees are quickly integrated into the company.Ensure that the organization’s recruitment strategy is implemented effectively and within established budgets and that the organization complies with all relevant regulations, laws and employment standards, including equal employment opportunity, workplace diversity and affirmative action legislation.Evaluate external labor market conditions and internal employee turnover trends in order to recommend changes to the organization’s recruitment and rewards strategies and adapt existing recruitment activities to changing market conditions.Select, and manage ongoing relationships with, external recruitment agencies to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
