A PRINCE2 qualified policy and strategy Consultant with over 8 years experience. An experienced project manager with wide ranging experience of working with local authorities, regional bodies, national government and academia. Accustomed to working at the highest level within organisations. A self starter with the ability to generate new business through a wide range of contacts or through presentations at national and international conferences.

Working with local authorities and central government on the delivery of local transport plans and Major Schemes.

Responsible for developing international competition policy in the EU (Brussels), OECD (Paris), and WTO (Geneva). Also worked on competition aspects of UK aviation policy. Developed anti-competitiveness Memoranda of Understanding with key international trading partners.Also worked in the Shipbuilding and Marine Equipment Industry sponsorship unit, working with partners and trade associations to improve the competitiveness of the sector. I was also responsible for managing the Home Shipbuilding Loan Guarantee Scheme, liaising with worldwide lenders, and working with organisations to promote shipbuilding in the UK. Represented the sector at major national and international trade shows.

As a Business Controller my responsibility was to underwrite high value credit proposals and deliver a leading service to clients. I was a key contact for one of the company’s largest clients. I managed a team of six with joint responsibility for a department of up to 30 staff.
