Now, with the rapid proliferation of AI, we can reimagine and redefine the very essence of learning and our educational systems.As a first-generation immigrant, I followed in the footsteps of my father and began my career as an accountant, which provided me with a robust foundation in the language of business. My aspiration for deeper problem-solving led me to consulting and subsequently to an MBA degree.Fascinated by the potential of technology and the early days of the internet, I secured an international strategy role in the interactive division of Disney. As my responsibilities evolved, I found myself in a London-based General Manager role, tasked with developing the mobile content business for the company from scratch, later co-leading the global business. Creating new experiences on an emerging technology platform for customers across diverse markets was both challenging and invigorating.However, it was at Age of Learning, leading strategy and innovation, that I fully harnessed the power of technology to drive innovation for genuine impact. Overseeing R&D initiatives, I assembled a team of top-tier learning scientists, educational specialists, and tech experts to pioneer the development of an AI-based personalized mastery learning platform. This groundbreaking work led to multiple patents and Age of Learning receiving the prestigious SIIA CODiE Award for Most Innovative Edtech Company.Beyond product innovation, I spearheaded Age of Learning’s foray into the school’s business, building teams across policy, sales, marketing, and customer success. Recognizing the need to spur system change, I set out to help shape the broader educational landscape. I chaired the Editorial Advisory Board for the Handbook of Research on Innovative Approaches to Early Childhood Development and shared my insights through papers, podcasts, and conferences.My commitment to the community is unwavering. As a Board Member of the Children's Institute, I support over 30,000 children and families facing adversity. Moreover, I mentor global edtech startups, ensuring the next generation of innovators thrive.I'm eager to connect with professionals who share my passion for harnessing AI's transformative potential in all aspects of learning and education.
