Primarily responsible for managing physical handling of Phos Acid Cargo, all clearing related issues of cargo, monitoring of CHA, exploring possibilities of priority berthing. Logistics of Phos Acid from JNPT to Taloja, primary & secondary transportation and warehousing of bulk fertilisers including contracting, coordination and cost control. 1) Stevedoring/Jetty/Yard Operations/open yard / operations, I was responsible for smooth handling of all commodities handled through this port , achieving high productivity rates without incurring demurrages with least operational cost and without compromising on quality of cargo. 2) Prepare/implement vessel operation plan along with contractors, and vessel. Berth the vessel at proper berth discharging/ Loading with provided sequence by the vessel Master/Ch. Officer using shore cranes/Ships crane with safe and smooth operation.3) Follow the loading /discharging sequence at all times for smooth and safe operation. Initial and final draft survey supervision, Cargo re-conciliation on a daily basis, ship to ship basis,4) Intra Port Transportation of bulk/bagged cargoes, Plot Management, receipt, custody of cargo. Make sure that the benchmarks are achieved for all cargoes at all times, Implement /follow all safety regulation's especially ISPS code.5) Laisoning with customs, Port officials, Pollution board, Police etc for comply the statutory guidelines.7) Ensure that revenue, cost and margin meet or exceed agreed budgets and forecasts at site and client levels, in both s. and % terms, within areas of responsibility. 8) Looking after day to day daily vessel loading / unloading reports, statement of facts, cargo declaration, stevedoring certificate, Mates receipt, surveyor reports and short shipment certificate in any. 9) All rail operations like rake placement, unloading/loading of cargo. 1) Logistics, Yard management, stacking, storing, carting etc - As a shift in charge I am responsible for all logistics activities for 12 hours shift. On and average handled 1500 trucks per day. Weigh the trucks, unloading, tare weight, issue the documents, informing daily truck receipt to shippers, maintain the inventory, while loading prepare the loading plan as per their moisture/Grade etc and blend the cargo accordingly.  Transportation to stack yard through Weigh Bridge and stacking as per shipper/grade/shipment plan.  Warehouse/space management, Day to day operational planning with supervisors and distribute the work according the operations plan.  Re-conciliation of cargo status / contractor’s bills. Documentation with Customs and with other agencies / parties. Maintain the stock book and report to the superiors on day to day basis. 2) Stevedoring/ Jetty Operations:- As a In-charge of stevedoring operations vessels handled at the port, I'm responsible for smooth loading of the cargo without incurring any demurrage, with minimum ops cost per metric ton and minimum handling loss without any quality problem by Vessel gear, Floating crane. Also responsible for distribute of barges for priority vessels.  Managing flotilla of barges/tugs. Chartering barges/vessels for lighter age and the negotiations thereof. Prepare/implement vessel operation plan along with contractor and vessel. Follow the loading sequence at all times for smooth operation.  Initial and final draft survey supervision, Cargo re-conciliation on a daily basis, ship to ship basis. Intra Port Transportation of bulk cargoes, Cargo Documentation with ship, shippers, Receivers, agents etc. Make sure that the benchmarks are achieved for all cargoes, Implement /follow all safety regulation's especially ISPS code.
