Born in North Paravoor, near Kochi, Sunil Kumar graduated in Civil Engineering from the Government Engineering College, Thrissur, Kerala, and completed the post-graduate Programme in Real Estate Management at IIM, Bangalore. He has completed the Executive Education Programme in Real Estate Management from Harvard Business School, Boston, USA. He also completed the Senior Executive Leadership Programme in Management from Harvard Business School, Boston, USA. He has been accredited with a Professional Diploma by Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), UK.Sunil Kumar started his career with IHRDE and went on to work with Cochin Refineries, Kerala, and Surbacon Developers, Bangalore. In 1994, he started Santhi Homes, which developed 12 residential projects in Kochi. In 2007, he founded Asset Homes Pvt. Ltd., which has delivered 58 residential projects across Kerala in a short span of 12 years. Asset Homes is now one of the leading brands in Kerala with its reach steadily spreading to Keralites settled across the globe.Within 8 years of its inception, Asset Homes became the youngest builder to receive CRISIL DA2 rating, and in 2019, the company received CRISIL DA2+ rating, thus becoming the highest rated builder in Kerala.Prompt delivery and superior quality of projects, exclusive and personalised customer care services, solid action to ensure sustainability, and high degree of efficiency of both processes and people are the factors that Sunil Kumar has untiringly worked to instil into the culture of his organization.Sunil Kumar, a brilliant orator and recipient of a number of national and international accolades, has proved his talent in literature also.
