I have been working here in PDH plant (Propane De-hydrogenation process) as a Lead Panel Operator for almost 8years.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Continuous monitoring & ensuring the plant operating parameters on DCS work as per designed operating Limits & optimizing the plant operations. Review laboratory sample results analysis by referring to laboratory information management system (LIMS) updates, trending results and makes necessary adjustment of the control panel instructions, Control start-up, shutdown and emergencies by alternations of speed, temperature, pressure and flow rates as necessary Monitor the performance of Advance Process Control (APC) and provides feedback of corrective action and optimization to process engineers, Initiates operational adjustments to ensure optimization of process performance and improves high value product yield; in order to ensure units to ensure products meet the required specification and plant operates in a safe manner. Logging all operating parameters. Reporting abnormalities supervisor & taking corrective actions. Following shift instructions & updates of plant to control plant precisely. Responsible to handling the emergencies that might take place, with safe & timely actions as per SOP & coordination with Field operator & shift supervisor. Ensuring that all the routine and non-routine jobs are done as per work permit system. Co-operating with maintenance, Electrical and Instrument departments & execution of different activities in the plant on a daily basis. Preparing standard operating procedures (SOP). Carry out the job as per SOP. Preparing procedures for special operations like handling over of equipment for Maintenance. Properly handing over of charge to upcoming reliever.
