Even though technology was all around the dispensary, we maintained the status quo and complained of not having any time. Utilising my experience gained over the past 6 years in building Pharmsmart, I am operating at CTO in bringing aquaint to market within the hospitality sector. The industry faces many of the same issues that I see in the pharmacy industry, where paper is still used in reporting processes in a very inefficient manner.Bringing the learnings from Pharmsmart, I oversee the technology strategy to ensure that we bring a world-class solution to market and aquaint the industry with user-centric digital technology.

Responsible for the professional and commercial outcomes for a busy pharmacy adjacent to a health centre, with its own pharmacy. However managed to:-- Increased the number of patients registered on our collection and delivery service from circa 250 patients to over 800 patients, an increase of over 300%- Created and implemented repeat collection and delivery software to manage this area of growth.- Increased prescription item numbers, from circa 9000 to well over 11,500- Initiated wholesaling, including acquiring a wholesale dealer Licence-adding substantial profits to our bottom line.

Responsible for the growth of a retail pharmacy chain from two to nine branches.Managed multiple sites across the Northwest, reporting directly to the board of a large generic manufacturer (M & A Pharmachem Ltd)Managed the implementation of the many changes imposed by the NHS Pharmacy contract and Drug Tariff over the fast fifteen years. Successfully managed the transition of nine branches from a supply focused business within the NHS to a modern, fit for purpose clinically focused pharmacy chain.
