NOW TV Platform TeamWorking as a hybrid Test Automation Lead/Test Manager role in Now TV’s core platform team, which supported high-load content and streaming services to numerous end-user devices through HTTP RESTful APIs. Acting a Test Manager which was responsible for co-ordinating 3rd party and internal projects during all phases of the SDLC across 15 Now TV UK supported client teams.Test Automation Lead key duties involved : - Carrying out Manual and Automation testing using Cucumber and Java for the RESTful APIs, using Postman.The use of Cucumber and Java to execute the automated acceptance tests using BDD style and implementing continuous integration to the automation regression suite and instrumental in optimising the execution time and reducing the runtime by approximately 50%.Verifying numerous internal and external services through REST interfaces, in both JSON and XML formats.
