Dec’14 – Aug’16 with BVIMIT Research Facility, Belapur, Navi Mumbai Junior Research Fellow Project : “A System to Acquire Genuine Earthquake Precursors by Monitoring Broadband Electromagnetic (EM) Atmospheric Noise (RFD System)” funded by Ministry of Earth Sciences Key Result Areas: • Assisted esteemed Prof. V.G. Kolvankar (retired BARC Scientist) for designing the Earthquake Precursor System • Executed detailed testing procedures to test the accuracy & precision of the implemented system • Engaged in the development of system enclosure, powering system & panels and ensured the ergonomics of the developed system were satisfactory • Conducted periodic maintenance in compliance with the maintenance schedule & guidelines to ensure the smooth operation of the developed system and analysed data streams generated by the system for drafting conclusions • Ensured high quality of components to be utilized by executing extensive tests & incorporating required adjustments to achieve precision & accuracy • Designed specifications for instruments to be produced & prepared various instrumentation project deliverables • Developed unique test scenarios & cases to execute extensive testing procedures for identifying any faults & defects in the system • Recommended corrective measures to rectify defects isolated during the testing process to enhance the quality & accuracy of the system Highlights: • Designed & developed the system from scratch under the guidance of Prof. V.G.
