Over 20 years of experience in the health, nanotechnology, pharmaceutical, and agriculture sectors working with academia, clinicians, and private industry. Selected highlights are: 1) Successful prototype and pilot of a blood-based companion diagnostic for advanced prostate cancer to guide treatment (prostate cancer diagnosis is #1 for men in North America) and 2) creating the first medical cannabis research and innovation programs for Alberta to enable pre-clinical and real-world studies (Canada is the 1st G7 country to legalize and is home to major industry players. To remain globally competitive, research and innovation are urgently needed to understand cannabis use).
