- Managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.- Hiring, training, and supervising staff members across various departments like front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, etc.- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality service standards and handling guest inquiries and concerns.- Developing and managing the budget for the hotel, including expenses for staff, supplies, maintenance, and other operational costs.- Implementing strategies to increase occupancy rates and revenue, which may include managing reservations, sales efforts, and promotional activities.- Ensuring that the hotel meets or exceeds brand standards and guest expectations in terms of cleanliness, safety, and service quality.- Overseeing compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) regulations and other relevant safety standards.- Supervising maintenance staff and ensuring that the hotel's facilities are well-maintained and in good working order.- Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and contractors for services and supplies needed for daily operations. - Identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.- Fostering a team environment that upholds the principles of integrity, trust, service, and accountability. - Cultivating a sense of responsibility and ownership among team members, resulting in an improvement in Balanced Scorecard performance, as demonstrated by a 9/10 satisfaction rate, up from the previous 8.4.
