- AOL webmail is a leading provider of e-mail on the Internet with almost 30 Million monthly unique visitors and with 1.6 Million simultaneous users at peak. As of Feb. 2011, Hitwise ranked AOL mail 12th among sites in all categories. AOL mail serves this audience with an Ajax interface, basic/classic interface for accessibility, mobile interface and smartphone interface.- My primary focus was the webmail server architecture, capacity and performance, back-end integrations and authentication.- My charter was to keep webmail running smoothly, support operations, debug/identify critical issues and fix them- Over the years, I contributed to various key initiatives such as Personal domains (bring your own domain), Affinity domains (redskins, capitals, luckymail etc.), white label (mail.com), bebo mail, iGoogle gadget view and AOL webmail for the mobile.- AOL webmail used IIS7/ASP.NET (C#) for server technology while the DHTML client was developed using dojo.

- Started as Lead QA on BillerExpert- Moved on to be lead QA engineer on Netscape Enterprise Calendar and Address Book server. Was part of the team that created the Enterprise Hosting Solutions (EHS) suite of products.- Lead QA Engineer/QA architect on the AOL Calendar server and related synchronization products (Intellisync for the AOL client, BlackBerry Sync, SyncML Calendar plugin etc.)- Was responsible for developing overall testing strategy, test automation and load/performance testing.- Created various testing tools/harnesses and wrote installation scripts for the various products.- Developed a predictable load balancing mechanism for the new generation Calendar server that removed reliance on cookie based load balancing.- I developed various testing tools using perl, shell scripts, C and Java. I also wrote WSH scripts using IE object model. I have developed load testing scripts in Silk Performer.

- Lead QA on the BillerExpert product at iPlanet (Sun/Netscape alliance).- I was responsible for overall test plans, test automation and testing OFX support in BillerExpert.- I was eventually hired as Principal QA at Netscape

- FLEXCUBE is one of the leading retail banking products in the world. i-flex was eventually acquired by Oracle. Here is a link to product information - http://www.oracle.com/industries/financial_services/oracle-flexcube.html- I was lead Developer for the OLTP servers on FLEXCUBE. Implemented the OLTP servers in Windows NT server technology using COM. Also developed an ODBC library to support multiple databases (Sybase, Oracle and SQL Server).- Managed a team of 6 on an implementation project at Uganda Commercial Bank Limited (UCBL). Implementation project involved guiding client on hardware/OS/database setup, FLEXCUBE installation, development of a migration tool for migrating data from existing system and user acceptance test.

Consultant at various Mastch clients such as AT&T, EDS and Liberty Mutual in the role of System administrator and web developer.

Part of the development team of retail banking product FINWARE (precursor to FlexCube). Developed tools and strategies for the effort to port FINWARE from Stratus VOS to UNIX. Also worked on some functional areas such as security and clearing modules.Developed a C language "translator" using lex and yacc for porting FINWARE from Stratus C to ANSI C on UNIX.

Worked on the development of a real time stock price broadcast system in collaboration with Press Trust of India (PTI)
