Consultant, Geriatric Medicine
CurrentI am currently working as Consultant-Geriatric Medicine and Public Health at Fortis Escorts Hospital, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Started and established Geriatric clinic from 10, August, 2015. Design and implemented Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment, Medication Management plan for elderly on poly pharmacy, Preventive Health check-up for elderly. I have done Post Graduate Diploma in Geriatric Medicine after M.B.B.S with three years Post Graduate training in Department of Medicine at Dr.S.N.Medical College, Jodhpur and two years Senior Residency at B.B.Saxena Memorial Hospital, Jaipur. I have done Master of Science (Population Health) (Advanced Master of Public Health) from University of Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia with distinction marks in subjects Statistics in Health Research, Introduction to Health Informatics, and Quality Management for Health Services. I have done a research project on “Reducing adverse drug events in community living elderly: A literature review and evaluation of current systems and practices during Master’s course. I was appointed as Advisor by World Health Organization (WHO) for “Validation study to assess the level of physical activity in elderly at Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India”. I was also appointed as team leader by World Health Organization for urban and rural camps organized for World Health Organization (WHO) “Multicentric Study to gather epidemiological data on health problems of elderly”. I have an experience of working for two and a half years in Australian Health care system. I have completed V-TIPS 2021 Virtual Toronto International Program to Strengthen Family Medicine and Primary Care from 7, April to 23, June 2021 from Department of Family and Community Medicine, University of Toronto, Canada. I am also participating in the COVID-19 Community of Practice for Ontario Familt Physicians virtual sessions.
