1. Build Gender Transformative Education System through 23000 government schools in Odisha and 6250 government schools in Punjab – Partnership formalised with OSEPA/PSEB and Board. The gender equity curriculum is integrated within existing curricula in Odisha/Punjab, teachers are equipped to deliver the curricula in government schools across the state. 2. Continued impact at scale – The curricula is delivered each year to VI to VIII class students in Punjab and VI to X grade pupils in Odisha . MEL activities to ensure that teachers, partners and facilitators deliver the curricula to quality benchmarks and demonstrate abilities to influencing adolescents’ attitudes and behaviours. 3. Positioning for exponential scale – Learning is synthesised and disseminated to influence relevant stakeholders, including practitioners and policy makers, to encourage further replication and scaling of effective approaches. A. Implementor Role: 1. Create content for curriculum reforms.Create, training modules and build capacities of teachers, administrative officers and school leaders. Create resources (guides ; digital, tech, media content) for teachers for bringing gender equitable behaviours into the classroom.2. Design, plan and execute parental engagement.B. Initiator Role:1. Institutionalise capacity building of school leaders/principals and DEO's on facilitating gender equitable attitudes and behaviours . 2. Sensitise school administrators, District , Block Education officials and Cluster Coordinators in states to mentor teachers on changing adolescent attitudes and mindsets. . 3. Review and monitoring of teachers. C. Influencer Role: 1. Institute an annual “Gender in Education” survey to gather evidence and drive policy level thinking around gender2. Build a movement by convening thought leaders to support the creation of gender transformative education spaces as a priority.3. Building relations in new states/ or with partners for scale up.
