Role & Responsibilities:• Design and review of test plan, test cases and test proposals; Execution of test cases; Test Reporting and Test Results Analysis• Defined the test criteria, project schedules and base lined the Test Plan with the help of project meetings and walkthroughs• Maintaining Requirements Traceability Matrix, update and track the RTM whenever a change/new feature comes in to the requirements.• Reporting and maintaining defects in defect tracker (Jira)• Responsible for direct interaction with client on task updates, allocating the task to team members and review of the work• Working in Different Test Environment• Working with Different Office and Adobe Packages • Creating and Executing the Test scripts• Working with Different cartridge , Patches for Oracle 10g and 11Gr2• Using the technology VMware workstation , Vmserver Creating Snapshot, Clone, Images Etc• Working with different standard and customer addins• Working with different product and versions • Responsible for testing Enterprise/Web• Web testing Included Chemical & Bio testing• Performing smoke testing, Adhoc testing regression testing, retesting, installation & upgrade testing and sanity testing in various test environments.• Backward Compatibility Testing• Documentation testing• Regression testing with Different features and Addins • Installation Testing for the application and databases • Creation of Video and webex for the corresponding Defect • Software and Test Tools Used:• Test Link, VB Script, CSBugs and Jira• Experience in preparing Test metrics like Release Defects Summary metrics and Test Case Summary metrics to evaluate the testing progress and to assess the quality of the software under test.• Sending Weekly Defect finding analysis across the team to evaluate the test progress on weekly basis
