FitFuel Nutrition is a healthy meal plan delivery service that operated in Tallahassee, FL. FitFuel Nutrition was able to bring in just under $500K in revenue in the first year and four months in business and served over a 1,000 customers. I founded the company in 2012 and my responsibilities with the company are listed below:• Managed a sales team of over 10 representatives and brought in over 500K in sales in under 2 years.• Hiring/Firing and creating company's Standard operating and procedures manual and training for all positions for the operation.• Creating proprietary menus and recipes by working with the executive chef and back of house kitchen staff.• Standardized the operational workflow and employee scheduling. • Food and Labor Cost % management. • Attaining and abiding by all State of Florida and Federal Business licenses to operate a food service operation. • Website development and design for the front end of the site.• Managing the recurring subscription payment and client management for over 250+ clientsPrimarily I founded and lead the Sales team • Created comprehensive sales plan designed to target college students • Held meetings to teach sales team how to cater their pitch to who they're selling to. • Utilized a referral based sales system. • Hired and led a team to help reach sales in untapped markets As the Founder/CEO my duties extended far beyond those listed above. I was able to take a startup that initially started with 2000 dollars to a fully functional business by being amorphous and being able to wear all sorts of hats catered to what the business needed to get done. I handled the Website development, legal matters with the operating agreement and formation of the LLC and dissolution as well, product development, team building, new sales strategies, taxes, and overall head of business development to move the business in the right direction in the pursuit of growth and standardization.
