During my year-long eInfochips internship as a Junior Researcher, I gained invaluable experience in the expanding field of IoT. A standout moment during my tenure was my involvement in the groundbreaking "Greenhouse Automation" project, which was IoT-centric.My internship allowed me to develop a versatile skill set encompassing hardware and software aspects of IoT. On the hardware side, I explored various components and platforms like Raspberry Pi and Arduino. My responsibilities included configuring and optimizing these platforms for IoT applications, significantly contributing to the project's success.In the software realm, I delved into MQTT protocols, crucial for IoT device-server communication. As a Junior Researcher, I adeptly applied MQTT protocols to enable real-time data exchange within the Greenhouse Automation project. Additionally, I worked with diverse IoT platforms and integrated IoT server provider APIs to enhance project functionality and scalability.Working with sensors was another vital aspect of my role. I engaged with a variety of sensors. I selected, configured, and calibrated these sensors to collect essential environmental data within the greenhouse, enabling data-driven decisions and process automation for improved efficiency.Beyond technical responsibilities, I identified and addressed research gaps within IoT.
