As the Location Campus Lead for Engineering Hiring for the West region, I am responsible for hiring the best talent for Wipro from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa and Madhya Pradesh. I am responsible for the end-to-end closure of the offers made. Freshers Engagement Lead, is the additional responsibility which i have taken alongside this role and I am responsible for chalking out the plan and various strategies to attract and retain the pre-final year candidates and offered candidates respectively.

Starting from Campus Marketing team, my interest guided me to dwell upon the opportunity to work with the team which is responsible for the Next-Gen Campus Hiring in Wipro i.e., Wipro Turbo Hiring Team. This team is responsible for Business-Driven Campus Hiring from some Top Engineering Institutes (like IITs, NITs, etc.) across India. Along with end-to-end Campus Recruitment, I was also assigned the responsibility of complete online/offline engagement of the students across theses “Turbo Mapped Colleges”. I am in-charge for the complete Turbo Training Model coordination, which includes dealing with multiple stakeholders from Talent Transformation Team, Competency Heads of various Business Units & Service Lines of Wipro, External Vendors, College HODs & Placement Officers.In my current role I am responsible for following activities: 1. Planning, helping in building strategies and execute the plan effectively with respect to recruitment, engagement and joining related initiatives. Also, to represent Wipro Limited for all the aspects of talent acquisition from Elite Colleges and Universities across India to identify the brightest talent.2. Branding and building strategic relationship with top ranking Universities and Colleges. Interacting with various stakeholders like Chancellors, Vice Chancellors, Head of Institutions and Placement Officers and Academicians. 3. Manage Campus relationship by engaging with campus sponsors, institutes coordinators and other internal stake holders to plan and leverage optimum sourcing strategy. Partnering with internal and external stake holders and clients to build strategy for campuses. Gathering market intelligence and competitors hiring strategy. 4. Creating Engagement strategies to retain foothold in colleges, working towards building a strong network & connect within Wipro, to ensure that Wipro employees are part of the extended team to work on various campus initiatives. 5. End to End Event Management in Campus hiring.
