An oil and gas materials handling firm, providing feasibility, design, and project management of materials handling systems. Responsibilities included mechanical design of materials handling systems, project management, equipment sourcing, estimating, and technical writing.Projects completed for Shell Albian, CNRL, Maxim Power.

On-site field engineer as Design Lead and Project Coordinator supporting requests from the various plants including the Smelter, Refinery, Mill and Underground Mines. Design work included piping, HVAC, feasibility studies, reliability and maintenance, multi-discipline project support, and drafting. In the Project Coordinator role, took charge of the project budget hours, schedule, and deliverables. On-site field engineer providing daily mechanical and structural support to the underground mine while working with the mine maintenance group. Work included structural designs, reliability and maintenance, FEA analysis, 3D design and drafting, and vendor management.

Three co-op terms were completed during this period with Central Engineering and Capital Projects as an on-site engineer. Central Engineering work included design and drafting, field inspection of structural steel, and the design, prototyping and testing of a manufacturing process. Capital Projects work included consultant liaison, Project Coordinators aid and Construction Coordinators aid.
