After serving as a key member of the team that developed the strategy and capability set for UPS's Healthcare Sector, I led a team of sales professionals to bring the full portfolio of transportation, logistics, cold chain and visibility solutions for the company. This is a $20+ billion sector; 18% of UPS revenues. However, sales had been declining and change was needed. I steered a reorganization of the group, launched new training and aligned global resources to that approach and re-set approach for engagement with sales team. While the sales and customer environments are both complex, we increased revenue results, achieving 20 months of consecutive growth, reduced churn by over 50% and maintained a well-balanced customer portfolio. Through identification of opportunities to improve both offerings and performance and by collaborating at an unprecedented level with Operations, my team and I were able to fortify the future trajectory of the global healthcare supply chain strategy and prepare for the pandemic that was to come. I supported several M&A activities as we enlarged our capabilities globally.
