The Program in Politics and Law supports research on law and lawmaking by Dartmouth students and faculty members. The Program funds student and faculty research expenses, including travel for research purposes, conducting surveys, and purchasing data. • Designed national survey and performed multivariate regression evaluating the decline of social capital versus increased polarization; currently preparing report with findings for publication• Researched role of fake news in the 2016 election with Brendan Nyhan for presentation at Harvard Kennedy School

QuestBridge is a non-profit organization that connects high-achieving, low-income students from across the country with educational opportunities at partner colleges and universities.• Coordinate a budget of $300 a month for one to two events per month. • Assess chapter finances to project and request funding for travel, catering, and other costs in a timely manner and as cost-efficiently as possible. • Produce financial and cost reports that are sent to QuestBridge and Dartmouth College.
